When a divorce happens, it affects all aspects of your children's lives. Don't assume that your children's school will know what to do and who to send communications to. It is best to have a contact sheet at the school informing them of the divorce and where to send school information. Have both addresses placed on file and inform them of sole custody or any specific court orders. This is another way of removing the children from the middle.
